Ball Mill Liner

The Grinding mill liners from casting parts are manufactured by high quality material, such as hard chromium steel, high manganese steel, alloy cast iron, rubber and magnetic liners. High manganese steel material has good impact toughness, and it can become harder and wearable when subjected to a certain impact. Therefore, high manganese material is widely used on ball mill liners. There are several different shapes of mill liners to meet the needs in different situations. Generally, it can be divided into two types of liner, smooth and unsmooth. The smooth liner is suitable for fine grinding because of the larger sliding of the steel ball and strong grinding and stripping. The unsmooth liner can bring the steel ball to the higher place, have greater impact force, and strong agitation to the steel ball and the ore, so it is suitable for the coarse grinding.

Compartment Plate

As one main component of the ball mill, compartment plate is used to keep the average size of each storehouse grinding body from coarse to fine grinding storehouse grinding gradually narrowed, to adapt to the grinding process of coarse grained materials with the ball, fine particle with reasonable principles of steel balls. Every storehouse board of grate seam can save material resistance larger particles and coarse grinding storehouse, make it continue to impact crushing.

Grinding Ball

Grinding balls are used in ball mills as grinding bodies for grinding materials by impact, abrasion and crushing. The balls are generally produced from iron and steel, which have superior resistance to abrasion and low wear rates. And the hardness might be between 15 and 66. The hard-wearing balls are available in almost any size from 0.5 to 76.2 mm in diameter.

Hammer Head

Hammer heads for ball mill are the key parts to crush hard materials such as coal, ores, limestone and bricks. It is widely used in the sand making, quarry, mining, recycling, sugar plant and brick plant. We have different kinds of materials and versatile anti-wear solutions for hammer heads to be used in different applications, to maximally cost saving to our customers

Ball mill Parts Description:

A ball mill, a type of grinder, is a cylindrical device used in grinding (or mixing) materials such as ores, cement, ceramic raw materials as etc.. Ball mills rotate around a horizontal axis, partially filled with the material to be ground plus the grinding medium. Different materials are used different media, including ceramic balls, flint pebbles, and stainless steel balls. An internal cascading effect reduces the material to a fine powder. Industrial ball mills can operate continuously, feed at one end and discharged at the other end. Large to medium-sized ball mills are mechanically rotated on their axis, but small ones normally consist of a cylindrical capped container that sits on two drive shafts (pulleys and belts are used to transmit rotary motion). Ball mills are also used in pyrotechnics and the manufacture of black powder. The grinding media are the balls, which may be made of steel (chromium steel), Manganese steel, stainless steel, ceramic. The inner surface of the cylindrical shell is usually lined with an abrasion-resistant material such as manganese steel ,Cr-Mo steel or rubber liner. Less wear takes place in rubber lined mills.
