Mantle

The gyratory mantle which is the movable working surface, is pivoted at its top within a spider bearing under the cap of the spider arm assembly while the bottom is gyrated within an eccentric bushing which is powered by the drive assembly. A mantle encompasses the middle tapered portion and has a correspondingly tapered internal side. The internal side is in generally continuous supportive engagement with the shaft middle portion. The mantle additionally has an upper side.

A gyratory crusher mantle or a set of concave segments with a longer wear life do not need to be replaced as often. You will need fewer per year but also have fewer maintenance shutdowns.

Concave Segments

The outer liner of a typical gyratory crusher consists of individual pieces called Concave Segments, each one of these segments needs to be lifted separately during installation and removal. Generally a gyratory crusher has a standard liner of several tiers of concave that need to be changed during a planned shutdown event. And all the concave segments would be removed piece by piece and new concave installed.

Switching to concave segments with a different design is a quick way to reduce both downtime and maintenance. Aslo the material of the lower tier segments shoud harder than other tiers which is wear faster than middel of upper tiers. upper tier The double-tier concave segments are twice as high as regular liners, which leads to 50% fewer wear parts to be changed. And ultimately reduces exposure to risks for the crews performing the reline.

Head Nut

The head nuts are used to retain the inner mantle of gyratory cone crushers which wears during service and must be replaced periodically. Generally when the crusher is working the head nut can tighten, making them extremely difficult to remove. The head nut assembly for gyratory crusher which includes a shaft having a lower portion, a tapered middle portion and a threaded upper portion. With original drawing or parts number, the head nut can be produced accordingly.

Spider Cap

The cast steel Spider Cap is engineered to significantly extend wear life versus original equipment using for a gyratory crusher. And a gyratory crusher includes a spider supported at a top shell, the spider having a pair of spider arms protected by respective arm shields. The cap are mounted and dismounted at the respective arms by a locking flange and notch and lug arrangement to avoid attachment by welding or attachment bolts.

Spider Shield

The spider shield also as know of Arm shield or Arm guards, Made of High Manganese steel it is mainly using on the Single cylinder cone crusher and gyratory crusher, It is to protect The Spider assembly when the rock directly feeding to the top of crusher.

Another liner name Narrow Arm Liner is seat below the lower frame it is to protect the lower frame body wear out by the discharged material at the bottom. Each type of gyratory having different narrow arm liners.

Gyratory Crusher Parts Descriptions:

The Gyratory Cone Crusher is one of the main types of primary crushers in a mine ore processing or rock crushing plant, is similar in basic concept to a jaw crusher, consisting of a concave surface and a conical head; both surfaces are typically lined with manganese steel surfaces. The Mantle has a slight circular movement but does not rotate; the movement is generated by an eccentric arrangement. As with the jaw crusher, material travels downward between the two surfaces being progressively crushed until it is small enough to fall out through the gap between the two Liner surfaces.

A Gyratory cone crushers are designated in size either by the gape and mantle diameter or by the size of the receiving opening. The crushing action is caused by the closing of the gap between the mantle liner (movable) mounted on the central vertical spindle and the concave liners (fixed) mounted on the main frame of the crusher. The gap is opened and closed by an eccentric on the bottom of the spindle that causes the central vertical spindle to gyrate.

Gyratory crushers can be used for primary or secondary crushing for material processing. using the gyratory sports in casing cone cavity of crushing cone to produce extrusion, fracturing and bending role to materials for crushing ore or rock of various hardness. Gyratory crusher is composed of transmission, engine base, eccentric bushing, crushing cone, center frame body, beams, original dynamic part, oil cylinder, pulley , appliances and dry oil, thin oil lubrication system components etc.

The Primary gyratory crusher is a big crushing machine which mainly used for mining ore processing. It is starts from All's-Chalmers then develops to Svedala ,Krupp,Fldsmith,Fuller Tyralo,Kemco, Kawasaki many brands, The popular models are SuperiorMK1-MKIII Series such as 42-65,50-65,54-75,62-75,60-89, 70-89,60-110

The secondary gyratory crusher is one of the most popular crusher in aggregates crushing industry, It starts from Svedala hydrocone then develop to Metso GP Series and Sandvick CH /CS series with their lastest technologies. The poupar Models at market are GP200,GP200S, GP300, GP300S, GP500, GP500S,GP11F,GP550 and Sandvik H3800/CH430/CS430,H4800/CH440/CS440, H6800/CH660/CS660, H7800/CH870, H880/CH880 as etc.
